Nowruz Dinner – A Persian New Year Celebration
With roots dating back to at least the 6th century B.C., Nowruz, the Zoroastrian-based Persian New Year, is a ten-day celebration ushering in Spring, honoring the spirits of nature and celebrating the ultimate triumph of good over evil. Starting on the Spring Equinox, Nowruz is a time for opulent feasts with friends and family, and making and sharing music, poetry and art.
This year, we are celebrating Nowruz at the Riverside on March 20, 5:30 pm – 10 pm with a 3-course Persian dinner, featuring a short film, live music and dancing. Full bar available to quench your libation.
$50/person, RSVP by March 15th (limited seating).
Doors open at 5:30pm.
Ceremony starts at 6pm followed by dinner.
Appetizers/short films/intro 5:30 – 6:30 pm
3-course Dinner 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Music & Dancing till 10pm.
