If you are looking for a venue that is filled with charm, history and inspiration for your next private event, look no further than The Riverside. We’re an incredible venue in the middle of Boulder with a huge patio overhanging the creek.
Whether you’re planning for an important business meeting, an intimate wedding reception, a fundraising gala, a small conference or even a small class, we can help you design a memorable social gathering. Treat 200 people to delicious sit-down meal or host a cozy reception or meeting for as few as ten people.
The Riverside has beautifully-lit rooms with exposed brick and reclaimed hardwood flooring throughout the building. Our 4,000+ square foot space can be divided into five different areas. The primary event center can be combined into three rooms ranging in size from 415 to 1300 square feet. There is a demonstration kitchen with a 40-person seating area and a 100-seat patio directly alongside Boulder Creek.

In addition to providing the standard amenities of an event center, such as table settings, basic A/V and catering, The Riverside offers a number of additional features including the only creekside patio in downtown. With an in house full-sized kitchen, we are able to provide our clients with delicious farm to table options.

In 1914 the building that housed the Riverside opened as a candy store. In the past century, it has served as a photography studio, architecture office, disco, art gallery and restaurant.
Now this historic venue hosts special events, corporate retreats and weddings. This creative, multi-use space is nestled right on the Boulder Creek and located in the heart of downtown Boulder. The event and catering staff do everything they can to make your event magical.
